Getting there
Flying
We recommend flying into SFO (San Francisco International Airport). The train, (BART), will take you straight into the heart of the city. Alternatively, Uber and Lyft will typically cost around $30-$50, Taxis around $75, depending on your stay.
Getting around
The city is very walkable, but be prepared to encounter a few steep hills (particularly in Pacific Heights, Nob Hill, and Russian Hill). We recommend bringing comfortable shoes and utilizing the topography grade setting on apple maps (there’s also an ‘avoid hills’ function that comes in handy, but sometimes the hills are inevitable).
Alternatively, rideshare options are super quick and accessible in the city. We recommend both Uber and Lyft, or Waymo if you’d like to get the full San Francisco experience!
